Canberra Museum + Gallery

CMAG serves a unique role as a place to experience the diverse history and contemporary culture of the Canberra region; and through this to gain a deeper understanding of Australia’s dynamic culture in its global setting.

At the time of the (r)evolve, CMAG will have display 'Glass Alphabet' - a unique conceptual work composed of 26 individual objects, each depicting a letter of the alphabet, produced by some of the Australia’s most prominent glass artists connected with the Canberra region.  The work was instigated by Mel George, an independent curator with a practice as a glass artist, and was first shown at Craft ACT: Craft & Design Centre, from 25 May to 7 July 2012.
